Bottles Bonus Guide
Spiral Mountain harbors a very unique piece of real estate; a small blue house belonging to a certain bear and a bird. The house within itself offers no real significance within your adventure aside from making a cameo appearance in the File Selection screen and the introduction of the game.
However, the interior of the house does offer up one very interesting secret game play mode dubbed ‘Bottles Bonus”.
In order to access this secret mode, simply stand on the green carpet in front of the fireplace as shown on the left and use your First Person mode to look closely at the portrait of Bottles above the crackling flames.
If you manage to stand in just the right position Bottles will inform you that you’ve accessed his secret ‘moving picture’ game and promises a mystery prizes in the tune of changing the duos appearance with several secret ‘Bottles Bonus’ codes. Let’s get on with the objective of the game then shall we?
HOW TO PLAY: BOTTLES BONUS
Bottles Bonus is very simple in concept; you’ll need to piece together a Jigsaw puzzle within the allotted time to beat the game. To up the ante, each puzzle will move as well as each respective puzzle piece, which means you’ll need to piece the puzzle together as the image is constantly in motion which can be a tad difficult.
Once the challenge begins you’ll watch as a completed puzzle in motion breaks apart as the assorted puzzle piece are littered around the perimeter.
Controlling Banjo’s hand with your analog stick you’ll need to grab each piece and place it within the puzzle. Use A to pick up and place puzzle pieces once you hover over them with your hand, and press B to let go of a piece and send it back to the outside perimeters.
As the difficulty progresses you’ll need to rotate certain pieces using the Left and Right C Buttons, though you won’t need to worry about this until the later puzzles. While you may be tempted to press Start to catch your breath, doing so during the puzzle will mean that you have given up and the game will end prematurely whenever you do so.
For each puzzle you complete, Bottles will reward you with one of his Bottles Bonus codes and allow you to try a more difficult puzzle for another code.
NOTE: While these exclusive codes are largely sought-after, you’ll only manage to keep them until you turn your game off; once you do that you’ll have to start the Bonus puzzles over again to obtain the codes.
MOVING PUZZLE ONE
The first challenge takes place within Banjo’s house, you’ll be tasked with completing the picture in 99 seconds.
While it’s likely that you won’t need help for this challenge we have provided you with the solution which you can click on to expand. Each of the 20 pieces on the sides of the puzzle have been numbered accordingly, and its proper place within the puzzle has been listed within the grid. This means that you’ll simply need to match each of the numbers to complete the puzzle. Later on you’ll encounter pieces which need to be rotated, these pieces are highlighted in red to indicate that they must be altered. You’ll find a multiplier underneath these pieces which will tell you how many times you must press the Left C Button until the piece is in the upright position.

BOTTLESBONUSONE
Once you manage to fit all the pieces back together and complete the moving picture, Bottles will reward you with your first prize: ‘BottlesBonusOne’. Bottles will instruct you to enter the code in the Sandcastle floor in Treasure Trove Cove.
Successfully entering “BottlesBonusOne” into the Sandcastle Floor will increase the size of Banjos cranium ten-fold. While the Bobble head Banjo may block Kazooie’s view from the pack, it shouldn’t do anything to affect gameplay such as squeezing through small crevices and giving Banjo’s noggin’ a knockin’. If you’d like to decrease the size of Banjo’s dome to it’s regular proportion, simply enter “NoBonus” into the sandcastle floor to negate the Bonus Code.

MOVING PUZZLE TWO
The next moving picture that Bottles has for you is a little bit more difficult. While you’ll still be given 99 seconds to solve the puzzle, it takes place in Boggys Igloo which means the colors stay pretty monochromatic with the chilly hue and identifying one piece from another may prove to be a tad challenging.
However, if you use the solution provided you shouldn’t have too much trouble with piecing together the puzzle.
You won’t have to meddle around with rotating any of the pieces either, so it’s just a matter of dragging and dropping each piece into its proper spot.

BOTTLESBONUSTWO
Once you manage to fit all the pieces back together and complete the moving picture, Bottles will reward you with your second prize: ‘BottlesBonusTwo’. Bottles will instruct you to enter the code in the Sandcastle floor in Treasure Trove Cove.
Successfully entering “BottlesBonusTwo” into the Sandcastle Floor will give Banjo extremely large hands and feet. From here you’ll be able to use Banjo’s new-found boxing gloves to dish out heavy duty Claw Swipes, or his giant feet to turn bounces into bounds on the Shock Jump Pad. While the inflated ends of Banjo’s appendages shouldn’t do anything to affect gameplay, you can be sure you’ll look quite the fool as you wander around the game with freakishly large feet and knobby ham hands.
If you’d like to return the size of Banjo’s hands and feet to their regular proportions, simply enter “NoBonus” into the sandcastle floor to negate the
Bonus Code.

MOVING PUZZLE THREE
These next pieces you’ll be grabbin’ are for the Captain’s Cabin, and boy does it get difficult! For starters there’s 11 pieces that you’ll have to rotate in this puzzle, 5 of which will require more than 2 rotations to turn upright.
The pieces which require rotation will be highlighted in red on the grid in the solution provided along with a multiplier underneath their respective puzzle pieces which indicates how many times the Left C Button must be pressed to fix it.
Just make sure that you turn the right pieces appropriately and you should manage to complete the puzzle well before the 99 seconds alloted for this nautical puzzle.

BOTTLESBONUSTHREE
Once you manage to rotate and fit all the pieces back together to complete the moving picture Bottles will reward you with your third prize: ‘BottlesBonusThree’. Bottles will instruct you to enter the code in the Sandcastle floor in Treasure Trove Cove.
Successfully entering “BottlesBonusThree” into the Sandcastle Floor won’t do anything to Banjo, but instead will increase Kazooie’s size exponentially, giving the Breegul a bulbous bobble head and an increased wingspan. If Bottles thought Kazooie was a big mouth before he wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of her banter now. While Kazooie’s increased wing span won’t allow for higher flying, or her larger beak to provide more lethal Rat-A-Tat Raps, her larger size will leave you questioning whether she should carry Banjo around in the pack.
If you’d like to return the Buzzard to her regular proportions, simply
enter “NoBonus” into the sandcastle floor to negate the Bonus Code.

MOVING PUZZLE FOUR
The next puzzle isn’t quite as difficult as the last one, this time only requiring you to rotate 6 pieces. In similar regard to Boggy’s puzzle prior, you’ll find the inside of Nabnuts house with little variety from the oak interior, with the lack of light hardly playing in your favor…
Without the solution this puzzle can really become challenging, especially when Banjo has fixated his views in the corner of Nabnut’s house for the sixth time and you’re left trying to pick apart different gradients of brown. If you’re a fast worker though you shouldn’t give Banjo a reason to make it that far, and the solution provided will come in handy with acquiring a speedy time.

BOTTLESBONUSFOUR
Once you manage to rotate and fit all the pieces back together to complete the moving picture Bottles will reward you with your fourth prize: ‘BottlesBonusFour’. Bottles will instruct you to enter the code in the Sandcastle floor in Treasure Trove Cove.
Successfully entering “BottlesBonusFour” into the Sandcastle will give Banjo’s figure a vertical stretching and a small head to boot, looks like the Honey Bear won’t need a Flip Flap to reach new heights now…
While you’ll be able to use Banjo’s new-found height to tower over your enemies the extra inches won’t do anything to affect gameplay, though it is quite fun to watch how the physics deal with Banjo’s slimmer frame when executing certain moves.
If you’d like to cut Banjo back down to size, simply enter “NoBonus” into the sandcastle floor to negate the Bonus Code.

MOVING PUZZLE FIVE
Bottles’ fifth puzzle isn’t nearly as hard as the ones encountered previous; while the puzzle does provide 9 pieces which must be rotated into proper position, it’s very forgiving when it comes to location. This time the puzzle takes place inside Tanktup in Bubblegloop Swamp where the legendary Tip Tup choir have set up a practice. While the green interior may be present within the puzzle, the main attraction is focused squarely on the Tip Tup choir which makes the puzzle considerably easier as each choir member has a distinct color for their shell. Using this to your advantage it’s easy to match each piece with its respective florescent turtle shell. The solution provided will have you completing the puzzle well before 99 seconds.

BOTTLESBONUSFIVE
Once you manage to rotate and fit all the pieces back together to complete the moving picture Bottles will reward you with your fifth prize: ‘BottlesBonusFive’. Bottles will instruct you to enter the code in the Sandcastle floor in Treasure Trove Cove.
Successfully entering “BottlesBonusFive” into the Sandcastle will provide ample contortions to Banjo’s form, giving him large hands and feet, a slender frame and itsy bitsy noggin’, successfully combining Bonus 2 and 4 into one lanky looking Banjo. Toot toot, next stop the WitchyWorld sideshow! While you might not be able to use your meaty hands and added height to take out Buzzbombs and Scabbys with your Claw Swipe attack rather than a well timed Rat-A-Tat Rap, you will manage to keep Tooty company with your freaky form if Grunty’s plan follows through, as well as give Kazooie extra work as she carries your bulkier body around the game.
If you’d like to shrink Banjos size to its normal proportions, simply enter “NoBonus” into the sandcastle floor to negate the Bonus Code.

MOVING PUZZLE SIX
This next puzzle will drive you mad, appropriately enough as the puzzle takes place in the Master Bedroom of Mad Monster Mansion. This time you’ll need to rotate every piece except for one, 7 of which will require more than 2 rotations to turn upright.
Given the dark setting of Mad Monster Mansion this puzzle can be a real pain, only providing a break when the luminous Tee-Hee enters the frame to which you’ll have a few seconds to pick up the florescent pieces and slam them into their appropriate places. Even with the solution it’s likely that you’ll still have a tough time with this one, so take a deep breath, find a comfortable spot and sit down; you’re going to be here for a while.

BIGBOTTLESBONUS
Once you manage to rotate and fit all the pieces back together to complete the moving picture Bottles will reward you with your sixth and supposed final prize: ‘BigBottlesBonus’. Bottles will instruct you to enter the code in the Sandcastle floor in Treasure Trove Cove.
Successfully entering “BigBottlesBonus” into the Sandcastle will activate the ultimatum of the Bottles Bonus Codes by combining all of the codes together albeit Bonus 4 and 5. From here you’ll have the large Banjo head of Bottles Bonus One, large hands and feet of Bottles Bonus Two, and large Kazooie head of Bottles Bonus Three.
Big Bottles Bonus is right, with the duo now gigantic representations of themselves. While your daunting frame won’t manage to affect the gameplay, you can be sure that the duo will look their biggest and best with BigBottlesBonus. If you’d like to decrease the swelling of Banjo and Kazooies features and egos, simply enter “NoBonus” into the sandcastle floor to negate the Bonus Code.

MOVING PUZZLE SEVEN
As much as Bottles persists that you’ve solved all the puzzles, you’ll unlock the secret final puzzle once you complete the BigBottlesBonus puzzle simply by looking up at the portrait one last time.
The final puzzle is toughest of the lot appropriately enough, allowing you only 75 seconds to complete the puzzle effectively cutting off 24 precious seconds.
Fortunately, the puzzles’ set up is exactly the same as the last puzzle when it comes to placement; you’ll find each and every piece shares the same spot as the Mad Monster puzzle, albeit a little more rotation for some pieces. So if you’ve beaten that you’ll just have to repeat it once more.
Nonetheless, the puzzle is based inside Zubbas Hive which features a monochromatic hue of gold, even with the solution provided the 75 second time limit will really test your skill and your patience, luckily it’s the last puzzle.

WISHYWASHYBANJO
Once you manage to rotate and fit all the pieces back together to complete the moving picture Bottles will reward you with your final prize: ‘WishyWashyBanjo’. Bottles will instruct you to enter the code in the Sandcastle floor in Treasure Trove Cove for some ‘good clean fun’.
Successfully entering “WishyWashyBanjo” into the Sandcastle will turn Banjo into Mumbo’s failed spell, the Washing Machine! Unlike the trapped transformation however, WishyWashyBanjo is free to roam anywhere you please, with an added bonus of retaining all of the duos abilities.
Time for a rinse cycle? Swim around with Wishy Washy Banjo and defy physics! How about some air dry action? Take off from a Flight Pad and spit at the laws of nature! The possibilities are endless! If you’d like to turn Banjo
and Kazooie back to their organic selves, simply enter “NoBonus” into the
sandcastle floor to negate the Bonus Code.
