Objectives:

4- Escort Natalya to Janus Base (Agent)
M Briefing: Miss Simonova will be with you on this mission. If Janus is operating a Goldeneye satellite, her computing skills will be essential when you try to disable their systems. Jack Wade has given her some basic firearms training and he thinks she’ll be able to carry her weight in a combat situation. Be careful though, 007, remember she isn’t an experienced operative like yourself.
Q Branch: You’ll know you’re on the right trail if you encounter Janus troops or automated defenses. Be especially wary of their robotic drone guns. I’m give you some triggered mines for their ammo dump, try not to waste them on silly things. Oh, and look out for that Xenia woman, 007, I think she’s after you. You lucky devil.

MISSION 7: CUBA – STAGE 1: JUNGLE – MAPS

CUBAN JUNGLE
You should feel lucky that you and Natalya were able to recover from the plane without any damage. Even though she will have a gun here, Natalya will be of little use to you most of the time. Visibility is limited here by the murky mist, the foliage, and the trees. The first two guards will come to inspect the recently downed plane. Put an end to their military enlistment and pick up their guns. The AR33 is an assault rifle that will prove very useful to you here. The weapon may be loud, but it has a scope that helps you take out anything before it has the time to react.
Just ahead of you through the jungle will be more guards and your first drone gun (of seven). Shoot all of these from a distance. The drone gun should go down after a few rounds into it. Remember that your gun’s range is longer than the drone’s, so you can snipe them. Also, the drone gun cannot turn around, so if you can find a way to sneak behind one, by all means do that.
Head to the right, and take out each enemy with Natalya’s help before either of you is spotted. Another drone gun and three guards will be posted at this next juncture, so shoot it all from a safe distance. Taking a left, keep advancing through this next stretch of nature. The job of eliminating three guards and a drone gun has been made considerably easier by the AR33, so this area by the outlook tower should be no trouble to you. Grab the Body Armor here because all your trouble is about to start.
There will be a bridge connecting two sides of a gorge. Walk onto the bridge until the new music starts. Xenia Onatopp will run toward you with a grenade launcher and assault rifle. This mini-boss can be a boat-load of trouble if you don’t play it right. What you should do first is back off from the bridge and step to either side. Xenia cannot shoot diagonally from the bridge, only directly in front of her. Shoot her as she makes her way across to meet you. If you’re lucky and a deadeye, you can kill her here. Chances are she will make her way across, though, so be ready for it. Hide among the trees and step out to shoot at her while she is reloading/searching. You can also strafe circles around her (my favorite technique) because she will not be able to track you as well if you’re constantly moving. Or you can be a jerk and place a hundred remote mines in front of the bridge and kill her instantly. That’s not very gentleman-like, though.
As long as you take care of avoiding her grenades, Xenia should go down before long. Head onto the bridge and shoot the drone gun to your left before advancing. Take a right around the next corner and head into a cave area known as The Cage. Upon entering The Cage, there will be a few friends of Janus’s waiting for you as well as a drone gun. Pop in and out of the cave to kill them all efficiently. Moving forward, take out every guards you see as you head up the ascending cave tunnel (not the ladder). There will be quite a few soldiers here, so move slowly and prudently. When you reach the top, you will find two drone guns. The first one that you see may fire on you if you get too close, so peek out ever-so-slightly from around the rock corner to shoot it. Once it’s down, walk in and take the troops out as they come to you. All six of them might prove to be some trouble, so watch your health. Turn around and shoot up the final drone gun facing the other direction.
Make sure than Natalya is out of the way before you blast apart all the crates in the ammo dump, which can be found around the two defunct drone guns. Head forward once every box is destroyed. Head down the hallway and pick off the final guard here. Check that Natalya is with you and head toward the door.
