Conker’s Bad Fur Day Rare Retrospective

Conker’s had a bad night. Well, actually, he’s had a very good night: the problem is that nights this good have a habit of leading naturally into very bad days. And the ones that see you waking up in a world of abusive paintpots, jabbering dung beetles, trigger-happy scar-faced Tediz and a belligerent giant with penis envy called Bugga the Knut are generally worse than most – especially when your dealings with these characters are hindered by the king of all hangovers and the fact that your only means of self-defence is a frying pan you picked up somewhere the night before.

Still, Conker’s nothing if not resourceful, and he’s soon resigned himself to ploughing through whatever madness comes his way if there’s a nice soft bed to collapse into at the end of it. Who knows, he might even stumble across the odd moneymaking opportunity – and while he’s nothing like most of the pushy, potty-mouthed sorts he gets tangled up with on his travels, he’s not so naive as to pass on the green stuff either…

3D exploration, combat and puzzle-solving, cinematic cut scenes, sly movie parodies, dozens of unhinged characters, amazing facial expressions, hours of speech, 1-4 player deathmatch games in a variety of styles, plus of course plenty of needless swearing and violence all combine to create an adult videogame like nothing seen before.
