Donkey Kong Country 3 Cheat Codes

Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble features a number of cheat codes that can be entered to modify your game and activate a plethora of secret features hidden away in the game.

In order to activate the cheat codes, you’ll need to visit the game selection screen, and then highlight the file you wish to use them on.

Once this is accomplished, you’ll need to enter L, R, R, L, R, R, L, R, L, R using the shoulder buttons of your controller, and as a result you’ll be prompted to enter the code of your choice in place of your file name.

Entering a correct cheat and pressing ‘OK’ will be acknowledged by the sound of Dixie Kong crying, and the effects of the code will be made available upon resuming or starting your file. Two of the cheat codes used to increase difficulty are necessary in completing the title to 104% and 105% respectively, and have been detailed below.
