How can I get to The Lost World? What does the bear (Blunder) mean when he’s mentions “four rocks?”

You must have the Hover Craft or Jet Ski. Then, go above Kremwood Forest on the Overworld Screen and sail around the outside of the four rocks in the water while holding down the Y Button in a clockwise pattern. Once done, a volcano will rise out of the water to enter.

After I get the Jet Ski, where do I go?

You need to go to the upper-right corner of the Overworld Screen (above the four rocks) and you’ll see two waterfalls. Hold down the Y Button to get a running start and you will be able to go up the waterfalls to access the other half of the world.

How do I reach the “floating island” in Mekanos?

If you bring Bazooka the Bowling Ball from Blue, he will shoot you up to Sky-High Secret (the green floating island in Mekanos) to get a Banana Bird.

After I complete a stage, a Flag appears on the level. What does this mean?

No Wind Blowing: None, or only one of the Bonus Levels have been found.
Wind Blowing: All Bonus Levels have been found.
Triangular Flag: The DK Coin in the stage has been collected.
Exclamation Mark: This appears after the name of the stage once all Bonus Levels have been found.

Note:
There is no difference between the exclamation mark and the flag blowing in the wind; they’re one in the same. The exclamation mark appears next to the stage name, and the flag blows on the Overworld Screen showing that you have gotten all of the Bonus Levels for that particular stage.

How can I do Kiddie’s “water-skip?”

You need to roll onto the water (with the Y Button). When you are in the tucked position, and right before you hit the water, push the B Button to jump off of the water. You can jump across the water twice as long as you stay in the tucked position and jump right before you touch the water.

Why are the words in French?

You can choose between French and English when beginning the game. You can’t change the setting once the game has been saved. To switch between languages, you must start a new file or erase the old one.

How do I put down the Barrel without it rolling?

Hold down on the Control Pad and release the X Button.

How many endings are there?

There are two endings. One regular ending, and a slightly different ending when you get 105% (TUFST code required).
