Objectives:
1- Find the Plane Ignition Key (Agent)
2- Destroy Heavy Gun Enplacements (00 Agent)
3- Destroy the Missile Battery (Secret Agent)
4- Escape in the Plane (Agent)
 
 

M Briefing: 006 knew this was going to be a risky mission. His sacrifice should give you enough time to find an aircraft. Keep a cool head and you’ll get out alive. Just be certain to knock out the heavy gun emplacements and missile battery or they’ll swat you out of the air like a silly fly.

Q Branch: No time for gadgets here, 007. Just improvise with what you can find close to hand.

SERVICE RUNWAY, CHEMICAL WARFARE FACILITY #2

You’re lucky you got out of that alive! It’s unfortunate that 006 had to lose his life so suddenly, but there’s nothing you can do now. Don’t let MI6 lose two agents today; it’s time to escape! The chemicals have been eradicated, and right outside is the runway with your escape plane! The place is crawling with soldiers after what happened in the facility, so watch your back.

Your plane is key-operated, so the first thing that you’ll need is this key. As soon as you step out of the back end of the facility onto the snow-covered runway, there will be a small building to the left. Pick up the grenades sitting conveniently outside and enter. Toss a grenade around the corner where two soldiers and the key are hiding. Once the grenade goes off, make your way through the smoke and grab the key from the ground.

Leave the building and run across to the other side of the facility. Look around for the Russian tank parked here just in case there is a foreign invasion. Jump into the Irony Mobile and switch to the rockets. At this point, there will be soldiers all over the runway trying to take you out. It will take quite a bit of shooting on their part to kill you, and since you’re in a tank, all you have to do is run them over.

There are three gun placements here to take out. They look like simple automated machine guns. One is half-way down the runway on the left, and the other two are up high all the way at the end. One missile from the tank will take one placement out. There is also a super-secret missile battery installed, as well, right next to the plane. Be cautious not to blow up your ride. It likes to explode. Just exit your tank and enter the plane to finish your first mission.
