The Second Krazoa Spirit and the Shrine
Walk forward and climb the ladder to your right. Jump in the water ahead and swim to the other side avoiding the whirlpools. Get out of the water and use your staff to put the fire out in front of you. Climb up the wall and turn around. Look up and you will find a sun tile on the roof/wall. Shoot it to raise the water level behind you. Swim across it and enter the next room. This room you have to walk across a narrow path while dodging flames. If you fall, just go back and climb the ladder. Once across turn around and take out your flame blaster. Shoot the sun tile on the roof/wall and the gate will open behind you. Run forth to the Krazoa Spirit.
You will now face your second Krazoa Challenge. In this challenge, you must defeat a number of SharpClaws before the timer runs out. This text should not be that hard. You are given a whopping three and a half minutes. Some of them may have their guard up so wait for them to attack before you do! Good luck! Once you’ve kill about ten of the SharpClaw, you will receive the Krazoa Spirit and will be teleported back to Moon Mountain Pass. Head back the way you came and head to ThornTail Hollow. Head over to the Warpstone and have him teleport you to Krazoa Palace.
Krazoa Palace
Run across the rainy bridge and up the incline. Kill the six SharpClaws in this room to dispel the magic force field and raise the bars. Turn around and to your left behind the pillars is a barrel bomb. The bomb is on a timer so quickly run into the next room. Right at the entrance light your lantern and quickly walk up the incline to your right. Turn left and run all the way to the back wall. Turn left again and run to the back. Turn left once more and run until you see a ramp to your left about half way. Run down and turn left down the ramp in the center of the room. Turn right and throw the bomb at the cracked wall. In this room, take out your fire blaster and shoot the sun tile on the wall in the back. This will make the flamethrowers move. Pick up the bomb barrel next to you and dodge the flames. Throw it at the cracked wall to blow it up. Don’t worry about time on this one it’s not timed.
This next room contains the same puzzle as when you shot fire at the orbs in the entrance of the Volcano Force Point Temple. Walk right and stand in a position where you can shoot through the flames and into the orb. Wait until the colors match and shoot. Do this to both sides to make the force field around the flamethrower diminish. Now shoot the flamethrower three times with your fire blaster to destroy it. Head back to the previous room and pick up another bomb barrel. Dodge the flames again and set the barrel on the switch to keep the door open. Enter then next room. Kill the two SharpClaws then stand on the platform in the back. You will be raised to enter a tunnel.
Navigate through the end of the tunnel to find Krystal’s chamber. Use the air fans to rise to the top. Kill the jellyfish with your flame blaster if necessary. Jump off onto the side and run a semi circle into a small room with a fan. Use this to fly to the top. You will now be outside with the Krazoa flying around. Run up the ramp to see a cut scene of Fox going gaga over Krystal’s beauty. Now run back down and stand on the circle in front of the Krazoa head to release the spirit. The head will then suck you back to ThornTail Hollow.
LightFoot Village
Upon teleporting back to ThornTail Hollow, the Warpstone will give you a medium scarab bag which can hold 100 scarabs! The next objective is to obtain the second SpellStone. Exit the Warpstone and head straight towards the path behind the arwing; (where you lit the third beacon.) Head down the path surrounded by brick walls until you come to an end with two different paths. Take the right path and jump in the water at the end. Swim to the shore on your left and turn right down the path. You will be in a tunnel of what appears to be made out of plants. You are now entering LightFoot Village.
To your left on the wall is a Staff Rocket Boost tile. Use this to get onto the ledge above. Head backwards towards the magic gem plant and turn left. On the other side is a gap with fuel cells on the ledge. Jump the gap and collect the two fuel cells. Jump back down and continue further. Kill the two SharpClaws that are in the path. You will find a weird looking scarab machine that will ask for 60 scarabs to open the gate to Cape Claw. Pay the 60 scarabs and walk through.
You will enter a maze like area. Use your map to help guide you through to the other side. Watch out for vines that will shoot out from the wall. At the end, make your way down the path until you come to a wall. Climb down the ladder to enter inside. Climb down another ladder next to you and run a semi circle around the room to the other side. Climb up the ladder and continue down the path.
Cape Claw
Run down the aisle and you will soon arrive in Cape Claw. Kill the big SharpClaw that stands in your path. As you start to walk down the incline a short cut scene will show someone looking at you through bars. Continue down the path until you see a waterfall. Shoot the sun tile behind it with your fire blaster. A bridge will extend next to you. Cross it and continue right.
Jump into the water and swim straight until you see a longneck dinosaur trapped between boardwalks. To get onto the boardwalks you can walk up the ramp and pay the guard 25 scarabs to pass, or you can simply use the Staff Rocket Booster in the back to jump on. Go ahead and use the Rocket Booster behind the longneck to get up. Kill the large SharpClaw and then talk to the dinosaur. He mentions that he has hidden four gold bars around the area. Problem is he cannot remember where they are due to his aging. If you find and return them, he will help you on your quest. A big tip here is that ALL gold bars are located next to one or more palm trees. Run pass the guard on the boardwalk and head down the ramp. A little to your left you will find two palm trees by the wall. In between the palm trees is a dirt patch. Have tricky use his find command to unbury the first gold bar! Swim across the area opposite of where you are. There is a large SharpClaw here so kill it before you do anything. A helpful strategy to killing these guys is to use your Ground Quake technique to knock the SharpClaw over. While it’s vulnerable attack it. Once it’s dead go a little left to find the dirt patch. Unbury and collect the second bar. To the right is a wall of thorns. Have Tricky burn them down using his fire breath. Kill the SharpClaws on the other side. There will be a dirt patch submerged in a small puddle in the corner. Have Tricky unbury it and collect it. Head back into the water and scale the wall on the right until you come to another sandy area. Kill the dino in the sand and break the box next to the palm tree. A dirt patch will appear where the box was. Dig and collect the last gold bar. Head back to the long neck and give him the bars. The longneck will stomp the ground causing a ladder to fall in the distance.
Head back over where the waterfall is. Cross the bridge and walk down the path and then over the boardwalks. At the end is the ladder that fell. Climb up the ladder and activate the switch on the wall. This will cause a gate to open. Climb back down the ladder and jump the gap behind you. Follow the path and enter where the gate opened. In this room four blocked will be removed from poison gas grates. You have a limited amount of time to place the blocks back into place over the gas grates. Remember when grabbing onto a block you can always move from side to side even if Fox isn’t grabbing in the right spot. The best method is to grab the block from the outside. If you grabbed it on the left, move the block to the left and while in the same position, push the block forward onto the grate. Once you get two of the blocks on the bar will slow down substantially. Once all four blocks are put back on, the door will open back up and a wooden gate will be lowered on the beach revealing a small cave.
Head back down to where you collect the fourth gold bar. And walk into the dark cave to start a cut scene with a CloudRunner. You learn that the CloudRunner was captured by Scales and that her fortress is in danger. She is the GateKeeper of the fortress and opens the gateway for you. Since the EarthWalkers do not see eye to eye, Tricky will stay behind.
Time to head to the arwing! Make your way back to the well, then through LightFoot Village, and finally back to ThornTail Hollow. Go ahead and hop in the arwing.
Arwing Flight #3
This flight is a bit harder than the previous two. There are epic amounts of asteroids, mines and enemies. Plus, you have to fly through five gold rings. Keep an eye out for any gold rings, don’t worry too much about taking damage; the only way to die is actually trying to. The rings may be hidden so look carefully. There are plenty of gold rings so keep your opportunities open. Once the flight is over, you will land in the CloudRunner Fortress.
